The Polaroid identification (ID) card issued by the Office of the University Registrar and duly countersigned by the CAL library staff is required upon entering the library. Until the Polaroid ID is issued, a temporary ID may be obtained from the library upon presentation of an appointment slip, registration form (Form 5) and an ID-size photograph.
The Lending desk handles all transactions regarding the use of circulation books: loan, return, and reservation of two week books. With a countersigned UP ID and valid UP webmail
Account (used in CRS), students, faculty and staff can borrow books from the circulation collection.
The collection consists of textbooks, book chapters, faculty’s personal copies of books and compiled reading materials selected by faculty members as required reading materials for courses being offered during the semester/summer.
Serials, undergraduate theses, Filipiniana and children’s books are requested at the journal desk.
Research Services and Facilities
The research services and facilities include an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), internet online subscriptions, interlibrary loan, photocopy, referral and book request services.
